Chamber of Commerce Champion Awards 2025
Rebecca has been nominated for the Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce Champion Awards 2025 in both the Future Skills and People Pioneer categories!
She says: “It’s incredible to be recognised for the commitment I am making through LearnLing - trying to make a positive difference to the future of the workplace by helping people improve their relationships and overall wellbeing at work.”
She continues: “It’s easy to assume that the way we think, act and respond to situations is the ‘right’ way and feel frustrated when others behave differently. But by developing self-awareness, we begin to understand ourselves better: our strengths, our challenges, and our natural communication style.”
She goes on to say: “When we learn more about ourselves and start to recognise different personality traits in others, we can adapt our communication, build stronger connections, and appreciate others’ differences through a more positive and empathetic lens.”
She reflects by saying: “My mission through LearnLing is to positively change workplace culture by delivering fun, interactive workshops. These workshops help people understand themselves and others to transform workplace communication, and enhance both professional and personal relationships.”
She concludes: “My goal is to provide people with the confidence to communicate effectively with others and empower them to make conscious communication choices to enhance their engagement, motivation, and well-being - both at work but also in their personal lives too! From young people entering the workplace to established leaders, I believe everyone can benefit from the power of self-awareness!”
The winners will be announced at the Chamber Awards in Carnoustie on 9 September.
